This car is my favorite. I bought it in 1998 just for the body. It was on sale for $79.99, what a bargain. It is one of the rare "wide" versions of the TA02 chassis. These are called the TA02W. I built it and bought an HPI F150 body for it. I don't think we took pics of our RC cars back then so you will have to take my word for it, the car looked awesome. Its performance was not. I built it box stock including the plastic bushings. It couldn't hang with our two belt, carbon fiber touring cars. After a while it sat unused for a few years. Then I got bit by the Tamiya touring car bug and started to build it. It has been evolving since then and now it's pretty much a different car. The first row of pics are of it's second evolved form. The second row shows the TA04 front suspension conversion and rear suspension upgrades. The third and fourth rows are what it looks like now. Finally the fifth row has the second and third forms plus a sneak peek at what the body is going to look like.
